Will Hutchens is a writer, traveller, husband, father, and avid student of foreign languages. Originally from Dayton, Washington, he moved to Portland, Oregon, in 2008 to get his master’s degree in international management from Portland State University. 

An espresso aficionado, Hutchens served as a sensory judge at the 2012 United States Barista Championship, the 2012 and 2013 Northwest Regional Barista Championships, and the 2013 Angel-in-us Barista World Grand Prix in Seoul, South Korea. He spends his free time playing the guitar and hanging out with his family. 

This summer (2014) Hutchens living in Macerata, Italy, researching Italian food for his next book. You can read more about his adventures at onthemarche.com.
